My client is a small independent recruitment company operating from Bristol City Centre. The company was started over two years ago and currently deals with Sales and Commercial Sectors predominantly.
The owner is now looking to expand the business and recruit an exceptional permanents senior recruitment consultant, with proven track record, to build revenue initially but to then recruit, train and develop small a team of their own, over the course of the next 12 - 18 months.
The role would ideally suit a senior consultant/team leader from another independent/niche agency as the company is in serviced offices at present and therefore requires a person who is able to source candidates from advertising, networking and headhunting alone as there is no window advertising and no footfall through the office.
The successful applicant could be from any permanent recruitment sector background but will be expected to prepare a business plan at second interview stage to justify why they believe that they will be able to make this sector a success for my client.
You will also need to be highly motivated and dedicated to make this new operation a success as you will be working in a very small team, possibly on your own, for the first few months until you have grown the desk sufficiently to recruit and grow your own team.
Basic Salary
Starting basic salary is £24k, with a review every 3 months, and if on target, you will receive an additional £1k on to your basic every 3 months, making basic salary upto £28k at the end of year 1 if all targets are hit.
Commission/Threshold
There is a monthly threshold of £6k and once this is acheived you will receive 20% of all billings back to £0.
Target
Year 1 target will be £100k and OTE will be £47k with uncapped commission, so earning potential is huge. The more you make the more you earn!!
Career
The successful applicant will move from Senior Consultant to Team Leader to Branch Manager as soon as each stage is made organically financially viable by the team.. Further opportunities will obviously arise as the company grows and share options are a possibility but will only be discussed after they have built and developed an over achieving team of consultants.
