Job Description:
Our client is an established and respected consultancy specialising in recruitment and executive search for the Public Relations, Communications and Investor Relations sectors. They pride themselves in developing long term career and recruitment partnerships and being there at every step.


Purpose of the job:
To handle freelance and interim assignments from brief to completion.

Duties & responsibilities:
•        Liaise with clients to take job briefs
•        Assess CVs and interview suitable candidates
•        Advise candidates on state of the market
•        Arrange interviews for candidates
•        Give candidates and clients full feedback and keep them updated on progress
•        Advise clients on salaries, payment terms, availability of candidates
•        Complete contractual paperwork as required
•        Write advertising copy
•        Look for new business opportunities
•        Develop relationships with new and existing clients and candidates
•        Work with other consultants on company initiatives, events, production of marketing materials etc.
•        Develop and implement new marketing and PR initiatives to raise profile of interim division
•        Keep records and database up to date.
•        Responsible for own targets – figures to be confirmed
•        Keeping in touch with current clients and candidates to grow business organically
•        Growing business by looking out for new opportunities

Person specification

Qualifications:
Educated to degree level

Experience/knowledge:
At least 3 years’ experience of Interim, contract or freelance recruitment, preferably for professional services or marketing industries
Some knowledge of PR/communications would be helpful but not essential
Some knowledge of employment law, especially relating to contractors

Skills:
Good organiser, can juggle several clients/projects simultaneously
Strong writing skills
Account/client management skills
Excellent communication skills
