TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT – IT
£16,000 - £18,000 + OTE + excellent benefits
We are an established player within the specialist area of IT recruitment and part of a large group,
recognised for our professional approach and understanding of the recruitment issues facing job seekers
and clients alike, with offices in London, Bristol and Leeds with regional divisions covering the
Midlands, North, North West, Thames Valley, South West, London, the South East and the City. This
allows complete UK coverage of both the contract and permanent markets. Due to an upturn in the IT
market place, we are recruiting for 15 Trainee Recruitment Consultants. You will be given a specific
technical market to develop and will receive whatever training is necessary to help you be successful.
You will be responsible for developing new business with clients as well as maintaining existing
relationships.
The work is mainly telephone based, so you should have a clear and confident manner and be able to
sell the company and yourself above other agencies. You must also be able to build strong, trusting
relationships with candidates. Other responsibilities include pre-screening CVs, organising interviews
and writing advertising copy for the trade print and on-line media. Recruitment is a sales role so you
must be self-motivated and prepared to give whatever it takes to achieve the best results and rewards.
You will have strong persuasion skills and a highly competitive attitude. Previous experience is not
necessary as a comprehensive training programme is provided. However, some sales experience would
be an advantage and you must be of graduate calibre.
On top of your basic salary, you will enjoy one of the most generous commission schemes in the
industry. Commission is uncapped, so you will have full responsibility and control of your earnings.
