| A leading Recruitment Consultancy is looking to expand their investment banking/securities trading operation by recruiting a junior researcher. This position will suit an individual with a genuine interest of the financial markets, in particular structured products. Training and support will be offered.
The main focus of the role will be to assist in providing research required for front office retained search assignments. You must be able to work to strict deadlines and will be required to identify, speak with and evaluate key individuals within the financial markets sector. In addition to delivering against specific time-critical search assignments, you will have involvement in long-term projects, providing research into targeted global markets. Responsibilities will also include investigating market trends and information management.

Candidate
They are looking for an articulate individual with a strong sense of ambition and drive. You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, including a fluent and convincing telephone manner. Although sales/marketing experience is not essential, you should have strong influencing skills. In addition to common sense, you will have a positive, friendly attitude with the ability to think laterally, as you will consistently be required to produce assignments to a professional standard under tight deadlines.
Experience
A well-rounded graduate with evidence of work experience (vacation/gap
year)
Previous sales / financial markets sector experience will be beneficial MS Word / MS Excel essential Must be able to provide evidence of research (in any field – including time at university etc)
