Salary: 22k base 45k OTE
This role is within one of the most successful independent recruitment companies, providing tailored solutions to large corporates, SME’s and Parliamentary Offices across London and the Home Counties. Due to extensive expansion, they have a number of key vacancies for experienced recruitment consultants. These roles are to be filled by the right people immediately with start dates as soon as the candidates are available.
Overall responsibility:
To find, interview, match and place suitable candidates into assignments within clients companies and charge our standard rates for that service. To work for the good of the team and the company, to successfully run and expand the temporary desk based at the Shoreditch branch of the Group. To maintain the high quality and standards set by the company when liasing with all client groups, inside and outside the company. To increase profitability of the desk and to achieve budget.
Levels of Responsibility and Accountability:
· To take instruction from Team Leader
· To undertake ongoing internal and external training as required
· Maintain company systems i.e. the company database as per minimum standards and ISO processes
· Discuss ongoing planning of temporary desk strategies
· Constantly expanding the division’s client base by gaining new business through telephone canvassing and face-to-face contact with clients
· Effective marketing and monitoring of division; professional visual image through advertising and mail shots
· Maintain high standards and continuity – regular quality audits are carried out of systems and working practices in line with best practice quality procedures
· Carry out interviewing, matching, telephone canvassing, referencing, visits/reports, negotiating, constant updating of information and administration within the branch – to maximise recruitment success
· Achieve targets as set by Team Leader
· Adhere to all relevant and current legislation required
· Work within our Equal Opportunities and Diversity commitment
· Weekly reporting to Team Leader
· Ensure the branch facilities are maintained to a very high standard
· Provide job descriptions/booking details to other branches who can assist in servicing your clients, any shared bookings filled/placements will be split 50/50 (unless agreed otherwise)
· To assist all client groups and team members to maximum effectiveness at all times
· To represent the company at corporate/industry events and functions from time to time
· To handle or contribute towards special projects as requested
