| ABOUT THE COMPANY:-
This company is a high growth recruitment organisation, focusing on specialist recruitment within the Finance / IT sector, throughout the UK and Europe. Clients are typically FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 international companies with a turnover in excess of £500m.
Founded in 1997, the company concept is to provide a "search quality" assignment driven recruitment service to clients seeking accountants with combined IT skill-sets - a service bridging the gap between Financial and IT Recruitment. Candidates are part qualified / qualified averaging £40,000 to £80,000 salary bracket.
THE ROLE:-
Recruiting & placing higher level PERMANENT (average £50k - £80k) or CONTRACT candidates (£500 to £1000 per day) on a contingency basis throughout the UK, occasionally Europe or at times further a field.
Recruiting on both an adhoc basis as well as within PSLs and large projects for mainly a blue-chip client base in a diverse range of sectors and locations.
Being an all round role you will be involved in:-
1.CANDIDATE GENERATION which is via a wide range of resources including on-line, headhunting, recommendations, referrals & advertising - interviews are either via the telephone or face to face
2.Business Development – existing clients through ‘warm calling’ via the existing client base
3.You will further develop new business via leads generated from colleagues, the national press, specialist publications and the internet, networking & marketing as well as utilising company literature (intelligent mail shots, targeted letters and brochure packs).
4.Taking responsibility for, and an interest in, continually developing and improving on general client/market awareness and finance systems product knowledge.
5.There will be a regular requirement to travel for client and candidate meetings in London and elsewhere. This may involve working and traveling late into the evening.
LOCATION:-
You will be based from their midlands offices on the Leicestershire / Northants borders
HOURS
9- 5.30, although additional hours may be required as indicative of the recruitment market.
PACKAGE:
Salary is dependant upon level of skills and experience with a basic between £20-£30k.+ £4k car allowance will be offered. An excellent commission structure – 30% of billings. Eligible for stakeholder pension upon joining, company contributing to pension after 1 year’s service. Private Healthcare. Mobile phone
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL IDEALLY HAVE:-
1.Minimum 2 years recruitment experience
2.Ideally from FINANCE recruitment (or I.T. recruitment especially for the Contacts role)
3.Highly professional and mature style (non ‘high street’)
4.Strong academic background (ideally degree calibre)
5.Excellent intellectual agility and a clear ability to absorb information and adapt rapidly to a new sector and varied role.
6.Able to demonstrate good all round core recruitment skills in a synergist market to include - interviewing, business development / client meetings, delivery, online advertising and internet research skills, dealing effectively with a volume email and telephone enquiries
7.Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to cope with this varied, challenging and exciting role
