| We are currently looking for a New Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities, specifically, to source new and revive expired contract opportunities, master vendor agreements, frameworks and service level agreements. To look for leads from a variety of sources and create business from them.
You will be responsible for ensuring all new tender applications are completed and submitted to a high standard and within specified timescales. You will be required to educate clients on opportunities for contract agreements such as master vendor or supplier service levels working closely with our service delivery teams.
Duties
To proactively source leads for potential new clients throughout the health and doctor sector by liaising closely with branch staff, sourcing tender advertisements, reading journals and papers and all other appropriate routes
To ensure all new tender applications are completed, documented and submitted to a high standard and within timeframes specified
To look for bespoke service packages for clients with unique or unusual requirements
To ask for and follow up on referrals gained from clients
To demonstrate an awareness of social, economic, political, and competitor trends, which enables the job holder to predict the local market and stay one step ahead.
To identify strategies to improve service and gain future buy in from potential clients, considering not only a range of conventionally used solutions, but thinking creatively to consider less immediately obvious options. |
